VALNERINA TERNI
The Valnerina is the valley of the Black River, which originates from the Sibillini Mountains in the Marches, Umbria through a mountainous area south-east, and then to Terni and from there flows into the Tiber near Orte.
The valley is characterized by its mountainous character; narrow and winding, is divided between the provinces of Terni, Perugia and Macerata. Among the most attractive centers are Ferentillo, Visso, Scheggino and Vallo di Nera, while the valley is easy to reach Norcia, Cascia and Spoleto.
